A catch-all functionality that is activated for a specific email mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to email addresses that do not actually exist. Otherwise stated, if you deactivate an email address and someone still sends a message to it, or to any misspelled address under the same domain, you’ll receive the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this functionality means that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be crucial if you run a company, for example. Since you may begin receiving junk messages, you can combine the catch-all functionality with anti-spam filtering software so as to get only real email messages in your inbox. Only one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for a catch-all mailbox.
Catch-all Emails in Cloud Website Hosting
If you host a domain on our cloud platform and you’ve got a cloud website hosting account, you will be able to activate the catch-all feature for any mailbox that you create under the domain. The Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section comes with quite a few functions, but it’s stunningly easy to work with, so creating a catch-all mailbox requires only a single click of the mouse. All the email addresses that you have will be listed in this section alphabetically and you will only need to click the "Catch-all" button for the particular address. Our system will inform you if there’s already another catch-all mailbox activated for that domain or if the one that you would like to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding activated, so you can either deactivate the latter feature or choose some other mailbox. Disabling the catch-all option is just as easy and takes yet another click on the same button.
Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting
The in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel that comes with every semi-dedicated server plan that we’re offering will permit you to set up a catch-all mailbox without effort even if you do not have much web/email hosting experience. All it takes to accomplish that is to click on the catch-all icon, which will be to the right of each email address that you have created using your domain names in the Email Manager section of the hosting Control Panel. Since you can have just one single mailbox with this feature per domain, our system will let you know if you’ve already created another catch-all mailbox or if the one that you wish to use has email forwarding enabled. In case you reach the decision that you do not need the feature anymore, you can deactivate it by clicking once again on the exact same icon. The Email Manager section will also permit you to see your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
