phpMyAdmin
What is phpMyAdmin? What is its function? Why will your websites need it?
phpMyAdmin is a highly efficient PHP-based software tool used to handle MySQL databases via a web interface. You may employ it to run MySQL commands, create, change and erase cells, rows and tables or manage users with different levels of access to the database in question. These tasks can easily be completed from any device as long as you have a web browser and access to the hosting account in which the database is. With phpMyAdmin, you can also export or import a whole database, which is a very useful feature if you'd like to migrate a website from one web hosting provider to another. A variety of file formats are supported for the so-called dump file - CSV, SQL, XML and PDF, dependant upon what you would like to do - move the content from one web hosting account to another, preview an entire database in a spreadsheet application like Microsoft Excel, and so forth.

phpMyAdmin in Cloud Website Hosting
phpMyAdmin is part of every
Linux cloud website hosting we provide and it's accessible from our in-house built Hepsia CP. A little phpMyAdmin icon shall be shown on the right side of every database which you create in the MySQL Databases section of the Control Panel and by clicking on the icon for the database which you want to access, you'll be logged into the application instantly in a new tab of your web browser. Then you can do anything you would like - export the whole or a part of the data, import a database, run SQL queries, search and change terms. If you do not want to employ the CP, you'll also be able to sign in through a direct phpMyAdmin login page, but you must know the database username and password. The last feature is useful if you have to provide access to a database to a third-party.

phpMyAdmin in Semi-dedicated Hosting
We offer phpMyAdmin with every
semi-dedicated server account since our packages support MySQL-driven sites. The tool is integrated in our in-house built Hepsia website hosting CP and if you would like to edit any database, you just need to go to the MySQL section and click on the phpMyAdmin icon for a particular database. You won't need any login credentials since you'll be signed in automatically. If you don't want to use your CP or you need to grant access to any database to another individual for some reason, you'll have an alternative option - to navigate to our phpMyAdmin direct login webpage where our system will require the database account info. If you hire a web developer, for instance, you can take advantage of this particular option to enable them to work on your website without granting them access to any files, e-mails or any other databases inside the account.
