Multiple OS
Discover how you can transform your hosting server from the very beginning with a selection of Multiple Operating Systems.
An Operating System is the software that communicates with the hardware of a PC and works as the intermediary between applications and the hardware, including peripheral devices such as a printer, a mouse or a keyboard. When you run software, it transmits requests to the OS using an API (Application Program Interface) and the interaction is done via a command line or a Graphical User Interface (GUI). Similar to a personal computer, hosting servers also feature an Operating System which serves as a host for all of the software installed on them, including script applications or server-side software such as a flash server, a VOIP server, and so on. A virtual machine can be created on a physical one, so you will be able to install a guest OS on it and have a different system environment in contrast to the physical server host OS.

Multiple OS in Dedicated Hosting
The
dedicated server packages that we offer come with as many as three different Operating Systems to select from. They are all Linux distributions - Ubuntu, CentOS and Debian, and not only do they have no license charges, but they are also regarded as the most stable and safe OSs. We supply three different ones since each of them is supported by a different community. The packages which you could add on your server are different and this may matter if you want to install some piece of software with particular requirements about the hosting environment. In this light, the hosting Control Panel which you can select for the dedicated server is also determined by the Operating System that you will pick. You can select any of the three Operating Systems during the order procedure, however if necessary, we can always install the server once again with a different one upon your request. As an additional service that you could add to the plan at any time, we can update the OS on a regular basis so as to keep it as secure as possible.
